Big Sky Development has been building custom homes throughout Southeast Michigan since 1994 — more than 30 years of continuous construction through two recessions and a pandemic without ever pausing operations. From new construction in Fenton and Tyrone Township to communities in Livingston County and beyond, Big Sky's portfolio spans the full range of custom home building in the region.
The company is known for true custom craftsmanship, an in-house 10-Year Structural Warranty (nine times longer than Michigan's state requirement), and homes built with more than 96% American-made materials and labor. The Founder
Tino M. Pulice
Tino M. Pulice started working in the building industry at age 14 in his father's custom home business and built his first company — an exterior painting business employing up to 10 painters — at age 17 to pay his way through college.
He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Business Management and Marketing, with additional coursework in Construction Management, Business Law, and Architecture.
Pulice founded Big Sky Development with a partner in 1994, became sole owner in 2000, and was the first builder in Livingston County to introduce 9-foot first-floor ranch-style homes and the first builder in Southeast Michigan to offer a true in-house 10-Year Warranty.
Big Sky has been recognized as "Best Local Builder" by multiple local business organizations and has built homes ranging from $100,000 to over $1,000,000 across more than 20 completed Michigan developments.
